For the drawtite 75742, what size Diameter, length and pitch bolt is supplied with this kit? Thank you

Expert Reply:
There is not a pin provided for the Draw-Tite Class III Hitch, part # 75742. We generally recommend part # PC3 as a basic pin for this hitch. This is a 5/8 inch diameter pin and has a 4-inch useable length, while an overall length of 5-1/8 inches. It has a 45 degree pitch on the curve.
You can use any hitch pin with the 5/8 inch diameter and at least 3.5 inches of "Span" or "Useable length" listed on its description. A locking hitch pin like the Bolt Trailer Hitch Receiver, part # BL7018446 is a great swap for improved security.
If you're just getting started with towing, I recommend our etrailer.com 2 inch hitch kit, part # 989900, which provides hitch pins, drawbars and hitch balls appropriate for your new hitch.
I've also included a video of the Draw-Tite Hitch being installed on a 2012 Honda CR-V so you can get familiar with how the process goes, plus our hitch install FAQ with tips to make the install even easier.
