Trailer Hitch That Fits 2006 Nissan Frontier LE
Question:
I have a 2006 frontier le model..the bumpers are integrated into the body so that the bumper does not stick out as in the normal frontier style...I dont see any pictures on your web site showing my model and I dont want the hitch sticking out...just waiting for the next available shin..is there a special hitch for this model or do I need to have a custom hitch built, Thank you

I checked with the manufacturers and both the Curt # 13241 and Draw-Tite # 75282 are fits for the LE model of 2006 Nissan Frontier so you do not need to have a custom built hitch. I would not be able to speak to how far out the receiver sticks out. If you do decide to go with one of these hitches
I recommend the Draw-Tite due to the 750 lbs of tongue weight capacity it offers though you will want to check your owners manual to find your vehicles towing capacity. It is a Class III hitch with a 2" receiver and 5,000 lb towing capacity that will bolt onto your truck's frame without drilling needed.
To add a 4-flat for trailer wiring you need the T-One Harness # C56225. If you are going to be towing, I recommend checking out Ball Mount Kit # 989900, which may fulfill your towing needs in one tidy package; two ball mounts - one with a 3/4” rise or 2” drop and the other with a 2-3/4” rise or 4” drop - a 1-7/8” hitch ball, a 2” hitch ball, and a pin and clip.
You can use the link to the help article on ball mounts I've added to determine if this kit will give you the correct amount of drop or rise. I've also attached a link to our page with each of our ball mounts as well as a video review of these products and installation videos.
