Roof Cargo Basket that Fits Elliptical Crossbars and Can Have Kayak Carrier Installed
Question:
Which roof mounted basket would be good to use on elliptical bars? Also I would need to be able to mount my Yakima Jaylow kayak mount to it.

Expert Reply:
Best option you have is the Yakima LoadWarrior part # Y07070 which is 44" long x 39" wide x 6-1/2" tall or the larger # Y07070-74 that measures 62" long x 39" wide x 6-1/2" tall.
Both of these fit elliptical shaped crossbars and the front and rear bar of the basket is designed to work as a round crossbar that a Yakima Jaylow part # Y04073 can attach to.
These two are the only options we have that cover everything you need. In the picture I attached you'll see a Jaylow installed on this cargo basket.
