How to Determine if Yakima Skybox NX 16 Will Fit on 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee and Clear Antenna
Question:
Hi there. I have a 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee with Whisbar Theough Bar crossbars. I was thinking about getting a Yakima skybox nx 16. Could you please let me know if this will fit without contacting the rear hatch when opened and/or the antennae? If it does contact/bend the antennae, do you know if this would impact the functionality of the antennae? Thanks,

Here's how you'll be able to determine if the Yakima Skybox NX 16 part # Y95AV will fit on your roof without interfering with the antenna. Measure from the center crossbar back to the antenna. If that distance is more than 47 inches you won't have to worry at all.
Otherwise, you might have to unscrew the antenna on your 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee when you go to use the cargo box. Sometimes the antenna doesn't sit up higher than the top of the crossbars and clearance isn't an issue.
