What Diameters Are Available For Hitch Pins
Question:
What diameter are receiver pins offered. My receiver has wallowed a bit because of slop.

Expert Reply:
Hitch pins come in 1/2 inch and 5/8 inch diameters with the 5/8 inch being the most common. Since it sounds like your hitch pin hole has elongated, you should get a new hitch. Send me the make, model, and year of your vehicle and I will make a specific recommendation.
For a 1/2 inch diameter hitch pin, I recommend the Curt Class I and II Pin, Item # C21403, for a basic pin or the Tow Ready Trailer Hitch Pin, Item # TR63254 if you need one that locks.
For a 5/8 inch pin, I recommend the Roadmaster Hitch Pin, Item # RM-910034, or theetrailer locking Trailer Hitch Pin, Item # e98881, for a locking option.
If these will not work for you, let me know and I will make a correct recommendation.
I have also attached additional information and videos for you to assist with your project.
