Replacement Brakes and Hubs/Rotors for Dexter 6,000 Lb Axles

Hi, I have Dexter 6000 4inch axles. 6x5.5inch pattern The bearing journals on the axle measure 1.75inch inner bearing and 1.25inch for the outer bearing. The seal journal measures 2.125. The drum is 12inch x 2inch and the distance from the back of the drum to the mounting face is 4. It is marked 8-201 I have the following in my shopping cart: AKEBRK-7-SA AKHD-655-6-K

As long as the brake mounting flange on your Dexter axle uses a 5 bolt pattern then the Electric Trailer Brake Kit part # AKEBRK-7-SA will work for you. The Trailer Hub and Drum Assembly part # AKHD-655-6-K uses a 25580 (1.75" inner diameter) inner bearing and a 15123 (1.25" inner diameter) outer bearing therefore will work well for you but you would need to swap out the grease seals for part # RG06-090. The brake mounting flange on your axle should use a 5 bolt pattern. The only other thing I recommend while changing out your brakes is new mounting hardware like part # BRKH12.
