Recommended Trailer Hitch Receiver, Wiring, and Ball Mount for 2009 Hyundai Santa Fe
Question:
Hi, Im looking at options for trailer hitches and see this one: Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class III - 2inch - 75471. 2009 Hyundai Santa Fe. My question at this point is if this comes with the wiring for a trailer. Its not clear from the part description. Can you please send me some details about that? Thanks!

The Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver # 75471 is a confirmed fit and an excellent choice for your 2009 Hyundai Santa Fe. It does not come with a ball mount or with wiring for trailer connection.
For your trailer wiring, I recommend the T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector # 118415. This harness installs to your factory harness located behind the driver's-side and passenger's-side interior trim panels in your rear cargo area.
Then for an adjustable ball mount, I recommend the Curt Channel Style Adjustable Ball Mount # C45900. This ball mount has a 2 inch and a 2-5/16 inch ball for multiple trailer coupler options. If you prefer a fixed hitch, I recommend the etrailer.com kit # 989900 which comes with different draw bars and hitch balls to allow you to change your mount to work with your trailer. I've attached a video to assist.
