The Tekonsha Primus IQ Trailer Brake Controller # TK90160 can be plugged into your 2017 GMC Sierra 1500 using the wiring adapter # 3016. This will simply plug into the wiring under the black cover to the left side of your brake pedal. I've attached an installation video to assist.
