Troubleshooting Original Tekonsha Prodigy Error Code

Question:

My controller has worked flawlessly for the last 8years. Now it wont work with the brake pedal, but works with the Manuel lever. The code on the controller is - - What does this mean?

The error code - - if it is on the bottom means the Prodigy is mounted at too low an angle. If the dashes are at the top, then the Prodigy is mounted to high an angle. This can simply be that it got bumped and needs to be adjusted back to proper position for function. The newer models of the Prodigy controller like P2 # 90885 and P3 # 90195 do not have that mounting specification required.
