Trailer Hitch and Wiring for a 2001 Chrysler Town and Country
Question:
I plugged in my car info, 2001 minivan chry. and the item c111813 popped up. I reviewed the install and the paperwork showed it would fit a corolla and a geo. Is that the correct hitch? The van frame mounting width is the same? Seems like it would be wider. Thanks

We do carry trailer hitches for your 2001 Chrysler Town and Country but you don't want # C11181. Instead you need to use # C13362. Please note this hitch does not fit Sport models.
If you plan on doing some towing I recommend etrailer ball mount kit # 989900. It comes with 2 ball mounts; one with a 3/4 inch rise or 2 inch drop and one with a 2-3/4 inch rise or 4 inch drop. It also includes a 1-7/8 inch ball, 2 inch ball, hitch pin with clip, and a storage bag.
If the ball mount kit does not have the right rise or drop to tow the trailer level, use the link I have included that explains how to measure to choose a ball mount to tow the trailer level.
And for a trailer wiring harness you can use # 118376 to add a 4-Way flat connector to the rear of the vehicle. I have included links showing example installations of the hitch and wiring and I have linked the fit guide main page for your van as well.
