A-iPower Portable Generator Fuel Shutoff and Storage Preparation
Question:
Does the A-iPower 2000 watt have a fuel shutoff valve. A valve that I can literally turn off and let it run out of fuel?

Expert Reply:
The A-iPower 2,000-Watt Portable Inverter Generator # 289-SUA2000I does not have a fuel shutoff valve or petcock. For long term storage, they recommend draining the tank, then running the motor until it stops and removing the drain screw on the carburetor float chamber then reinstalling. For regular use, you will just leave gas in the tank and carburetor and turn the multi function knob to off and closed the vent on the gas cap.
I've attached in instructions to help further. Page 24 goes through the long term storage instructions step by step.
