Parts Needed to Carry a Bike on the Roof of a 1995 Honda Civic Coupe
Question:
Hey there, I have a 95 Honda civic coupe and wanted to be able to put my bike on the roof. Do you have any products that would fit my vehicle? I have been searching for awhile and am still lost. No I do not already have a rack to but the bike adapter thingy on.

We do have a handful of roof racks that are confirmed to fit your 1995 Honda Civic Coupe.
The most popular roof rack option that we have for your Civic is the Inno square bar roof rack which consists of the Crossbars # INB107, Feet # INSUT, Short Roof Adapter Kit # INJK, and Fit Kit # INK130. This system has a weight capacity of 140 lbs and will give you a roof rack spread of 24 inches.
For a more economical options we have the SportRack roof rack option which consists of the SportRack Semi-Custom Roof Rack # SR1003, and Short-Roof Adapter # SR1116. This system has a weight capacity of 130 lbs and will give you a roof rack spread of 23-1/2 inches.
Keep in mind that you will want to verify the weight capacity of the roof on your Civic with the owner's manual and keep within the limits of whichever component has the lower rating.
I have attached a link to our selection of roof mount bike racks that you can filter through. One of our most popular options that is very cost effective is the Swagman Upright Roof Bike Carrier # S64720. This is a great option because it does not require any wheel removals and the clamp will secure to most bikes. As long as your bike does not exceed the 54 inch max wheelbase or 3 inch max wheel width and the frame isn't delicate like a carbon fiber frame this bike rack is a great choice.
If you want to avoid contact to your bike frame then I recommend using the Thule UpRide # TH599000 for a wheel mount option.
The Prologue XT can accommodate a max wheelbase of 48 inches and a max tire width of 2-5/8 inches while the Sidearm can accommodate an overall length of 56 inches and a wheel width of 20 mm to 2.6 inches. To add locks to either bike rack you would need part # TH450200.
Another viable option that you could use is the SeaSucker Talon # 298-BT1004 which is a fork mount bike rack that does not require the installation of a roof rack. It uses powerful suction cups (rated for 210 lbs pull strength per cup) to secure to your rooftop, trunk, or even back glass. I have attached a video that demonstrates these being used to lift a VW van to show how strong they are. It includes a 9 mm quick-release skewer.
I have attached some review videos as well as some installation instructions for you to check out.
