Towing a 5th Wheel Trailer Using an Adapter with Draw-Tite Remov-A-Ball Gooseneck Hitch
Question:
I have a 01 f250 short bed with a draw tight remove a ball hitch. What 5th wheel adapter will work for this set up?

Expert Reply:
The Remov-A-Ball gooseneck hitches make things a little tricky because the handle to secure the ball is right next to the ball itself. I would go with the Ranch Hitch # AM3100. The housing for the mechanism that opens and closes the coupler is smaller and high up enough to avoid the ball handle when in the locked position.
