Parts Needed to Install 9,000 lbs Winch on the Front of a 2008 Jeep Liberty

Question:

Hi please let me know as to what i might need to install a winch to my 2008 jeep liberty.I would like to purchase all of the equipment from you as to make sure it all fits.I see that the C31020 is the correct mounting plate but I am not sure as to the basket that would fit that .I would also like to know what winch would be the best for that removable basket.I would like a 9000lb but not any smaller or bigger.I will be useing it manly for pulling myself out of sand at the beach should I get stuck. In the event I have to pull someone else out of the sand I want to make sure I will not damage my Jeep that is why I think a 9000 would be my best bet.I would also like a quick disconnect for the wireing so I can take the winch off as needed and not have to bother taking it from the battery. If I can get a quote as to what this all might be I am sure I will be ordering it within the next week or two Thank You

Aside from using the Curt Front Mount Trailer Hitch Receiver # C31020 to mount a winch on your 2008 Jeep Liberty there are a few other things that you will need to use

Once the front trailer hitch is installed you can then use the Bulldog Winch Receiver Mount Kit # BDW20155 to carry the Bulldog DC9.0 Integrated Off-Road Winch # BD500600 which is rated for 9,000 lbs and is compatible with the mounting bracket kit.

This winch comes with a remote control so that you can monitor the your winch, but for your application you may also be interested in the Wireless Remote Control # BD500527 as well which can send a signal up to 90' away.

For some quick connects that will allow you to easily install and remove the winch I recommend going with the Bulldog Winch Front Wiring Kit # BDW20347.
