Question:
I’m trying to figure out the difference between the following Reece hitches: RP 66083 and RP 66087. I couldn’t find anything different about them except for the price. Please help.

The difference is that the part # RP66087 is the trunnion bar version of the system and the part # RP66083 is the round bar version of the system.
The round or trunnion bars refers to the end of the spring bars. Round bars are typically designed for lighter applications, are a bit harder to install and are usually priced lower than trunnion bars. Trunnion bars are typically designed to be used with heavier weight applications, and easier to install than round bars.
Trunnion bars typically offer more ground clearance as well.
