Recommended Bike Rack and Snowboard Carrier as well as Cargo Carrier for 2017 Jeep Wrangler
Question:
I have a jeep wrangler 2 door 2017 and want to carry my bikes 2 during summer and snowboards 2 during winter. I am looking to also possible carry a cooler for separate use. I am willing to get a mix between a roof rack and a hitch rack... which ever combination will get me the lower price point. Thank you

For your 2 bikes and 2 boards, I recommend the Thule Tram Ski and Snowboard Carrier Adapter for Hitch-Mounted Bike Racks # TH9033 which is compatible with the Thule Hitching Post Pro # TH934XTR. I recommend the hitch lock # THSTL2 and cable lock # e98891 for greater security. These will work with the rear spare tire if you have that.
For a cargo carrier for a cooler, I recommend the 20x60 Curt Cargo Carrier for 2" Hitches # C18151. This carrier folds for storage an will give you a 9 inch measurement from center of hitch pin hole to closest part of carrier. When folded down that measurement increases to 19 inches to give you plenty of room for your spare tire and cooler height to not have contact.
