Is Loc Tite Needed when Installing Draw Tite Trailer Hitches
Question:
Do I need to apply loctite to the hitch bolts during installation or does torquing it do a good enough job in securing it?

Helpful Expert Reply:
If you torque all of the install hardware for the Draw Tite part # 75528 properly you would not need to use any Loc-Tite. The bolts stretch as they are torqued which acts as a "lock nut" and prevents from wanting to back out.
