Does the Gen-Y Torsion Ball Mount 325-GH-1226 Stop Trailer Sway

Would this provide sway control on a 7,000 pound travel trailer like a Equalizer brand would?

Gen-Y Torsion Adjustable Receiver # 325-GH-1226 is a ball mount whereas an Equal-I-zer system is a weight distribution system with built-in sway control so really they are 2 different animals. The Gen-Y ball mount will help reduce vertical shock and stress and can reduce "porpoising" which is that rocking horse kind of feeling. But as far as reducing side to side sway it is not designed for that.
