Platform Bike Rack Recommendation for Etrek E-Bike

Question:

Is the platform bike rack such as the kind used for motorcycles or scooters an option for use as a bike rack. I have one bike I want to hitch to my F150, an Etrek that weights 50lbs. I have issues lifting it solo into the truck bed and wondered if these with the fold out ramps would solve the problem. With appropriate strapping would it stay on? Is there a wheel attachement that would help. Thank you

You could use a motorcycle carrier to carry an E-bike like what you have but it would be a bit overkill. Instead I think we have a better solution. Check out the Thule EasyFold # TH903202 . This rack is specifically designed for heavier E-bikes, has a built in ramp, has an attachment style that allows it to easy grab the frame of an E-bike without requiring addtional straps and will fit your Ford F-150 hitch easily.
