It sounds like you are not getting 12-volt battery power to the 7-way connector at the rear of your 2006 Ford F-150 Super Crew. If you look at your 7-Way vehicle connector on your truck, the pin at the one o'clock position is for the 12-volt battery power. I am including a picture of a 7-Way vehicle connector that will show the pins and their functions.
You will want to test that pin at the one o'clock positions with a circuit tester like the Quickee Tester, part # PTW2993, to see if you have power at that pin. Depending on how your 7-Way trailer connector is wired, you might want to also check the center pin, as it could also possibly be wired for the 12-volt battery power.
If you are not getting 12-volt power to your vehicle 7-Way connector, you will need to check to see if there are fuses in the vehicle that might need to be installed or make sure that the wiring to the 7-Way on the vehicle is correct.
If you have access to another vehicle with a 7-Way, I recommend plugging that vehicle into your travel trailer and check to see if everything works correctly. If it does, then you know the problem is in your vehicle. If it does not work correctly, then you will have to inspect the wiring on the travel trailer.
The Tow Ready replacement Ford OEM 7-Way wiring harness, part # 118242 that you have referenced will only work on 1997 to 2003 Ford F-150 Super Crew vehicles that came with a factory 4-Way.
I am including a link to a FAQ page on trailer wiring.
