Recommended Installation of Towed Vehicle Wiring With Separate Functions of 2009 Honda CR-V
Question:
I have a 2009 honda CRV. I was considering installing 7 to 6 wire item# RM-15267. My question is: will the turn signal flash while the brake light is activated, like when slowing into a turn? Thank you.

The Roadmaster Diode 7-Wire to 6-Wire Flexo-Coil Wiring Kit # RM-15267 will be a great option for your 2009 Honda CR-V. When your turn signal is on and you are braking simultaneously, your vehicle will have the solid brake light until you release the brake. This system does have a way to override that however. For applications that have separate lighting like your CR-V, this kit will cause your brake lights to function as both brake and turn signal lights. A wiring converter # 118158 and 2 additional diodes # RM-792 will be needed if you want to retain separate turn and brake signals. I've attached a video of this converter to assist.
