Adapter Needed to Convert Separate Trailer Wiring to Combined

Question:

My Polaris ranger does not have a electric brake control, and I do not want to install one. How do I get brake lights to work on my trailer? I have running lights, left and right turn signals. But no brake lights. I hooked the blue electric brake wire to the brake lights but got nothing? Any suggestions?

Most likely your Polaris Ranger has stoplights that are separate from the turn signals. Whereas trailer wiring has those two circuits combined. So without knowing more about what style of trailer connector you have what you'll need to do is wire in a converter part # RM-732 on your Polaris between it and the trailer connector so that the circuits are combined on the trailer wiring and you should be good.

There would be not need for a brake controller if you don't want one.
