Capacity of Dutton-Lainson Boat Trailer Deluxe Roller Bunks
Question:
Dutton-Lainson Boat Trailer Deluxe Roller Bunk So I have a 25', 5,500# boat. Id like to install these rollers on a sloped ramp system and use winch to pull the boat clear of the water. If they're 3,000# capacity in two of them, would 4 of them allow for 6,000# of boat spread across 10'? Logically, this works, but I'd like to have you folks shed some light on this. Thanks!

Though your line of thinking is perfectly logical, unfortunately it is a bit more complicated. The # DL21741 roller bunks have a 3,000 lb capacity per set and because a 5,500 lb boat does not have its weight evenly distributed, there will almost certainly be more weight at the back of the boat assuming that's where the motor is, and there would be more than 3,000 lbs of weight on that set of bunks so it would not work for your particular application.
