Mounting the Thule SnowPack 6 To a 2013 Toyota Highlander
Question:
We have a factory installed set of crossbars on our 2013 Toyota Highlander. The Thule Snowpack 6 is supposed to be a fit for this vehicle but it seems we need an adapter to make this happen? Can you suggest what part we need?

Expert Reply:
To use your Snowpack 6, part # TH7326, you shouldn't have to get any special adapters or anything to mount, unless you've previously had it on a different vehicle and used the T-Channel mount.
If it's cold outside, the strap can also become a lot less flexible, and lose a little bit of distance. You can let the strap out a little further to make up this difference.
If you no longer have the strap style mounts, you can buy individual replacements as part # 7521241001.
