Can 1,200 lb Bar # RP66009 Replace 800 lb Bar # RP22225 for Reese Strait-Line WD System
Question:
Have Reese Straightline dual cam hitch with 800lb trunion bars. Turns out actual tongue weight is 950. Can I purchase just the 1200lb trunion bars?

Expert Reply:
Both the Strait-Line Weight Distribution System # RP66083 for 800 lbs Tongue Weight (TW) and the System # RP66084 for 1,200 lbs of TW use the same head unit and lift brackets.
This means that you can replace your 800 lb bars, part # RP22225, with the 1,200 lb bars, part # RP66009. The bars are sold in a quantity of 1 so you will need to purchase 2 for your replacements.
