Troubleshooting Trailer Running/Parking/Clearance Lights Not Functioning

I have a 98 wilderness Fleetwood fifth wheel and I need help on how to turn them on?How to turn on 5th wheel headlights on

Since there are no headlights on a trailer, I assume you are having issue with the clearance and tail lights on your trailer often referred to as parking or running lights. These lights receive signal from your vehicle via the 7-way trailer connection. This will be in the 11 o'clock position on your trailer connection. I've attached a photo to assist.
If those lights don't turn on when you connect your trailer, first check your vehicle fuses for trailer parking lamp and then use a circuit tester like # PTW2993 to check function. If the fuse and wiring are good at the connection, then you will need to use the circuit tester to check the trailer. It may be simply a bad ground connection, or it may be a short in the wire that will need to be found and replaced.
