What is Maximum Crossbar Spread for Thule Sidearm Wheel-Mount Bike Carrier
Question:

Helpful Expert Reply:
The Thule ProRide XT Roof Bike Rack # TH598004 referenced in your question has a maximum crossbar spread of 36 inches. It also needs a minimum bar spread of 18 inches.
This is a very nice roof-mounted bike rack that can secure 1 bike of up to 44 pounds and is designed to fit aero, square, round, and most factory crossbars. The Thule One-Key System # TH450200 can be added to secure the bike to the carrier and the carrier to your vehicle.
