For your 2017 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited system to flat tow it behind your Itasca Ellipse, I recommend the following:

For your base plates, I recommend the Blue Ox Base Plate Kit # BX1126 which will give the front of your Jeep a clean look. It has an integrated wiring connector area and removable arms.

For your tow bar, I recommend the Blue Ox Alpha Tow Bar # BX7380 which has the safety cables. I also recommend the locking pins # BX88177 to secure your tow bar and adapter.

For your tow bar wiring, I recommend the Roadmaster Diode 7-Wire to 6-Wire Flexo-Coil Wiring Kit # RM-15267. This will give you a 6-way and a cable to connect from your motorhome 7-way that fits right onto your base plate crossbar for a clean look. The wiring utilizes diodes so your Jeep tail lights will be used while protecting your Jeep's system.

For your braking system, I recommend the Air Force One # SM99243 because your Itasca Ellipse has air brakes from my research. Using a system designed for air brakes prevents false braking on the Jeep.

The final thing you need is the high-low adapter for your application. I've linked an article to help you determine what you need and linked the page for your convenience. Let me know if you have any further questions.

I believe you are referring to the Roadmaster Tow Defender Protective Screening # RM-4750 which is compatible with the system I recommended for you. If you want even another layer of protection there is also the Blue Ox KarGard Towed Vehicle Protector # BX8870 that can be installed on your system.
