Does Draw-Tite Trailer Hitch Receiver for 2017 BMW X3 Fit Other Vehicles

I am interested in the Draw-Tite Trailer Hitch - 76226 for my BMW X3. Can this hitch be removed after years of use and put onto another car? I am leasing my car and would like to use this on my next car.
