Question:

2014 Honda crv EXL with factory crossbars. Which of your baskets will mount. I tried the 59504 but do not fit with factory bars.

Prior to purchasing another basket, I recommend measuring your crossbars. You'll want to measure their thickness and their width. You will also want to measure the spread, which is the distance from the center of the front crossbar to the center of the rear crossbar.

A great basket that is the most likely to fit is the Thule Canyon XT, part # TH859XT. It is made to fit most sizes of bars. It also has a wide range of fits available. It fits crossbar spreads from 20 inches wide all the way up to 37 inches. Its easy to install bracket system is also an advantage, letting you get the best fit for your vehicle. Additionally, it can be easily locked by adding one-key cylinders, part # TH450400, giving additional security.

Another front-to-back basket is the Yakima, LoadWarrior, part # Y07070. This also has the front-to-back mounting bars, and has the added benefit of letting you mount round bar compatible accessories to the front and rear crossbars on the basket. Yakima also produces several additional accessories for the LoadWarrior, letting you customize the basket to your exact needs.
