Tekonsha Trailer Brake Controller Wiring Harness Compatibility

Is the wiring harness the same for P2 and P3?....same connectors on both ends.

Yes, the quick-connect wiring adapters available for any Tekonsha trailer brake controllers such as the Primus IQ # TK90160, the Prodigy P2 # 90885 and the P3 # 90195 are usable on any of their controllers. The end that fits to the port on the vehicle will be specific to the vehicle make and model but the other end that connects to the controller is identical on all adapters like # 3034-P which fits Ford trucks.

So if you had a Primus controller installed and were upgrading to the outstanding Prodigy P3 # 90195 you would use the existing wiring harness.
