Troubleshooting S.H Code and Constant Electrical Pulse from the Prodigy P2 # 90885
Question:
SH on brake controler started the investigation. Found a rhythmic elect pulse in the blue wire exiting the controler. Slow pulse when 7 way disconnected but much stronger and faster when plugged into seven way and the display of SH. What is the pulse.

That pulse in the brake controller wire that you are seeing is the Prodigy P2 # 90885 checking to see if there is a trailer connected. It is always running so there is no need to be concerned there.
The issue that you need to mess with is the S.H code on your P2. This code means that the brake controller is sensing a short on that circuit.
Start by checking the connectors on your tow vehicle and trailer and make sure that they are clean and free of corrosion and debris. You will then want to check to make sure you have clean grounds that are secure and connected to clean, bare metal surfaces.
If all of that looks good then you will want to check the wiring itself on that circuit. Check for any places where it is bent, corroded, exposed, or damaged and replace it with 10 Gauge Wire # 10-1-1 and Butt Connectors # DW05745-5.
If you are still having an issue after checking all of the wiring you may want to take your tow vehicle to a shop and have them inspect the wiring on your vehicle.
