When looking at a supplemental system like the Roadmaster BrakeMaster Braking System # RM-9100, the air line will connect to the air brakes on the motorhome. This kind of braking system is meant to be used with a motorhome that has air or air over hydraulic brakes. If you do not have air brakes then we will need to find another option for you.
If you are looking for a system that remains installed on the vehicle being towed then I highly recommend the SMI Stay-IN-Play DUO Supplemental Braking System # SM99251. When you are not flat towing you will hardly notice that it is even in the vehicle and it is activated by simply flipping a switch. I have attached a review video for you to check out as well.
Keep in mind that a complete flat towing setup will also include a base plate kit, a tow bar, safety cables, vehicle tow bar wiring, and possibly a high-low adapter. If you are missing any of these products just let me know what the year/make/model is of the vehicle you will be flat towing and I can make some recommendations.
You will also want to be sure to follow any special instructions for flat towing that is outlined in your owner's manual.
