Replacement Spring Bars to Decrease Capacity of Fastway e2 Weight Distribution System
Question:
I have the 10,000 Fastway hitch with square 1000 bars. My camper has a 505 unloaded hitch weight. A loaded may hit 600. It rides rough. Will your Replacement Trunnion Spring Bars for Fastway e2 Weight Distribution Systems - Qty 2 - 800 lbs TWinch be a better ride and fit? Thanks!

If your trailer has a maximum loaded tongue weight that is topping out at around 600 pounds, then your Fastway e2 Weight Distribution System # FA92-00-1000 is indeed a bit over-rated with its 1,000 pound tongue weight capacity. An over-rated weight distribution system will certainly create a rough and uncomfortable ride when towing the trailer.
To decrease the system's capacity to better align with your trailer weight, I do recommend switching the spring bars out with the Replacement Trunnion Spring Bars # FA92-01-0899. This will change the capacity range on your system to 400-800 pounds, which should work perfectly for the 600 pound tongue weight on your trailer.
This will include 2 spring bars with the bolts, lock washers and Nylock nuts already installed.

I have reviewed the trunnion bar replacement and somewhere i saw they were to be lubed with Equal i zer high perf lube. How do you do this lube and what is the lube part no. I was told to use no lube on E2 hitch. Thank you in this matter
