Parts Needed to Wire Lighting Functions When Flat Towing a 1997 Nissan Pickup Truck

I want to run my wiring from motorhome and hook into rear tale lights of pickup. Is this what I need? Thank You!

The Hopkins Vehicle Wiring Harness, # HM43505, is for the Nissan if it were towing a trailer and needed to power the trailer lights. Instead, there are a couple of different options for when you are towing the Nissan and need lights.

Since you mentioned that you wanted to power the Nissan lights, you will want to use a diode kit, # RM-154. Installing this kit will put the turn signals and brake lights on the same bulb and the running lights will be on a separate bulb. If you want the turn signals to be separate, you will need 2 additional diodes, # RM-792, and Tail Light Converter, # 118158.
