Which Derale Radiator Adapter Fitting Kit for a 2000 Ford Taurus Wagon
Question:
Id like to purchase your Derale Transmission Cooler for the 2000 Ford Taurus Wagon Code: D12906 but I am a little confused about which fitting kit I need as it does not clarify the correct kit for my car and you show 2 different fitting kits for the same car. Can you please help. Best regards

I spoke with my contact at Derale and the reason there are two different hose fitting recommendations is because there are two possible diameter hoses that are on the 2000 Ford Taurus Wagons.
To determine the correct fitting you will need to know the threaded diameter of the transmission fluid line fitting in your vehicles radiator.
If you need a 3/8 inch fitting you would need a Derale Radiator Adapter Fitting Kit, part # D13014. If you need a 1/2 inch fitting I would recommend a Derale Radiator Adapter Fitting, part # D13024.
I attached an FAQ page on transmission coolers for you to check out also.
