For your 2016 Audi A3 the correct part number for the Curt hitch is part # C11399. Curt recommends using the Curt Trailer Hitch Support Strap part # 18050 to reduce chucking and jarring for all non-towing applications. The support strap must be used to abide by their warranty. The Curt hitch is made in the U.S.A. This is a great option for you.

If you can tell me what you will be using the hitch for, I would be glad to offer some additional recommendations for you but in the meantime, I have attached a few videos that shows the support strap being used should you decide to choose the Curt hitch.

For a bike rack that will work well with the Class I 1-1/4" hitch receiver on your Audi and allow you to carry two bikes, I recommend taking a look at the Thule Camber 2 Bike Rack part # TH9058. The arms can be folded downward for easy storage and the rack and even be tilted outward for access to the rear cargo area.
