Will Curt Adapter for Factory Rail Kit Work With Husky 25K Sliding Hitch on 2017 Chevy 2500HD?
Question:
Hi I just bought the 2017 Chevy 2500hd with the 5th wheel mounting kit installed from dealer. I am wondering if this kit c16023 will work with my Husky 25k sliding hitch that I already have from my last truck? Thanks

The Curt Adapter Rails for Curt 5th Wheel Hitch w/ Slider - Chevy/GMC Towing Prep Package # C16023 will only fit Curt hitches. For your Husky 25K, I recommend the Demco 5th Wheel Rail Adapter for Chevy/GMC OEM 5th Wheel Towing Prep Package - 21,000 lbs # DM6194. This will actually give you a higher capacity than the Curt adapter but will limit you to 21K towing capacity.
