You have really done your homework well. The Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class III - 2" # C13136 is a strong hitch receiver that is confirmed to fit your 2013 Audi Q5. The Loctite RTV 598 High-Performance Silicone Gasket Maker - Black - 2.7-Fl Oz Tube # LT37467 will work well to create a water tight seal when installing this hitch.

The Curt Powered Tail Light Converter with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector # C59236 is also a fit and will require power from the battery. Then to get your 7-way connection, you will need the # ETBC7. This will give you the 7-way connection, the wiring, and the circuit breakers needed to add a trailer brake controller and add the 12V power. If you don't need all the functions and just need the 4-way in a 7-way connection, you can just use the trailer connector, connect the ground wire and tape up the reverse, power, and brake controller output wires.

If you will be adding and electric brake controller to use a trailer with brakes, I recommend the Tekonsha Prodigy P3 # 90195. This is a proportional controller that will apply the trailer brakes at the same time and with the same amount of pressure as you press the brake pedal in your Q5. It has an easy to read LCD screen and there is no code deciphering required. It has easy to use presets as well.

For towing, you will also need a ball mount. I recommend the B&W Tow & Stow 2-Ball Mount - 2" Hitch - 5" Drop, 5-1/2" Rise - 10K - Black # BWTS10037B. This will give you an adjustable mount to tow multiple trailers level. It also has two integrated hitch balls to fit a 2 inch coupler or a 2-5/16 inch coupler. This ball mount has a really nice and clean looking stow away option that will protect your shins when not in use. I recommend using a hitch lock like # e98882 to protect your investment.
