How Does Ventline Vanair Trailer Roof Vent Open and Close
Question:
OK, it has 7/8inch travel between closed and open positions. When would you want it closed? Do you manually pull it up from the outside to open it? Do you also push it down from the outside to close it? Can you open and close it by pushing it up to open it and pulling it down from the inside? These are probably really simple things to know but you dont show any photos of it in open and closed positions that I can see. I have a 2017 Ford Transit 148inch wheelbase cargo van. I think you can only use this in the roof by the way its designed. Any suggestion what fan could be used on the side of the van? Does anyone make such a fan that you know of?

The handle of the roof vent part # VP-543SP that is accessible on the inside of where the vent is installed is how the vent is opened and closed. Basically you rotate the handle one direction to open it and the other direction to close it.
