Recommended WD System for Towing a Rockwood Mini Lite 2507S with a 2014 Ford F-150
Question:
I just purchased a 2507S rockwood mini lite and will be towing with a 2014 ford f-150 what type of hitch do you recommend?

I like to recommend the Reese Strait-Line Weight Distribution (WD) systems because they work to prevent sway before it happens as opposed to correcting it once it starts like most WD systems do.
When choosing a WD system for your setup you will want to choose one that has a Tongue Weight (TW) range that the Total Tongue Weight (TTW) of your setup falls in the middle of. You can find your TTW by adding the TW of your fully loaded and ready-to-go trailer along with the weight of any cargo behind the rear axle of your 2014 Ford F-150, like a cooler. Keep in mind that a properly loaded trailer should have a TW that is 10-15% of the loaded weight of the trailer.
Once you know what your TTW is you can then choose the WD system that is correct for your towing setup. I have attached a link to our selection of WD systems, but like I said, I highly recommend the Reese Strait-Line systems. A possible solution for you would be part # RP66084 which has a TW range of 600 lbs - 1,200 lbs because the dry hitch weight of your Mini Lite is 543 lbs. It comes with a 2 inch shank but a hitch ball, like part # A-90 for 2 inch or part # 19286 for 2-5/16 inch, is sold separately.
I have attached a review video for you to check out for more details.
