Expert Reply:
If your 2000 Ford F-350 has a factory 7-way, all you will need is the Tekonsha Wire, part # 3035-P, to install the Tekonsha Primus IQ Brake Controller, part # TK90160. One end will plug into the back of the brake controller, the other to the brake controller port located underneath the dash towards the center. The brake controller port will be tucked up and out of the way and may be hidden by wires (see video).
If your F-350 just has a factory 4-flat connector, in addition to part # 3035-P, you will need to install Tow Ready Custom Fit Vehicle Wiring, part # 118243.
I have linked a video installation of a brake controller on a 2003 Ford F-250 which shows the location of the brake controller port. Also linked is an FAQ on brake controllers and an FAQ on installing brake controllers on a Ford.
