If the Replacement Cap # T1755600 Becomes Distorted Will it Still Fit and Allow Brakes to Work
Question:
If the diaphragm is distorted in any way will that cause the brake system to work improperly or not at all? I already ordered a replacement cap from eTrailer, hopefully the new cap comes with a new diaphram and will fix my issue! SYT

Unless the threads of the part of the actuator that the Replacement Cap # T1755600 screws onto (see attached picture) is damaged then the diaphragm type replacement cap will fit just fine. If the cap itself becomes distorted somehow then you might have some difficulty installing it, but if it can be installed correctly then your brake system should still work.
If it is damaged to the point that it does not provide a good seal then it will cause problems.
It doesn't necessarily come with a "new diaphragm" as that is just the style of cap that it is.
