In order to determine which size cam locks you need for your trailer, you will want to note the thickness of the doors on which you are installing them. This will determine the size locks that will work on your storage doors. If you are simply replacing existing locks, you can also measure your current unit to see exactly what you need.

The Camco Cam Lock # CAM44303 that you were looking at is 7/8 inches thick. For the 5/8 cam lock, you will use # CAM44293. I have also attached a short video demonstration on this lock that you can check out.
