Recommended 5th Wheel Base Rail Custom Bracket Kit for 2002 Chevy Silverado

Question:

I need custom brackets to in install 5th wheel hitch on 2002 ext cab silverado. I do not want to drill holes in the frame. item rp 50064 58 looks like it would work. I dont want to have to buy the bed rails I have these. Can I buy the brackets alone?

The custom brackets you are looking for to work with your 2002 Chevy Silverado are the Reese Quick-Install Custom Bracket Kit for 5th Wheel Trailer Hitches # RP50064. This will come with the hardware for the frame rails only, so you will also need to get the Replacement Hardware Kit for Fifth Wheel Base Rails - 10 Bolt # RP58430 to mount the rails you currently have because it is only intended to be torqued to specs one time so reusing hardware could limit or cause problems with your system.

You may also be interested in the Bargman Wiring Harness # 50-97-410 to put a second 7-way trailer connector in the bed of your truck for easy connection.
