Does Winch Mount for 2016 Honda Pioneer 500 Install Winch Below or Above Mount

Question:

Will the winch sit on the mount or be bolted below it? I do not want the winch blocking the radiator, which it would do, sitting on the mount. Hopefully, I can find a mount that will work for me. Also, I didnt see it on your site but do you sell the Superwinch Black 12 VDC LT 4000ATV SR winch? Thanks for your help.

The winch mounting brackets for the 2016 Honda Pioneer 500 like the Bulldog Winch part # BDW15183 are designed to have the winch mounted to the underside of the bracket.

I got this winch mount plate for my pioneer 500 and i got a2500 lb dad land winch and when mounted the cable spools from the top instead of bootom will that hurt anything

Spooling off the bottom of the winch is ideal (just less stress on the mounting bolts that way) but going off the top really is okay too. A lot of applications require this configuration.
