Replacement Trailer Brake Assembles to Fit Dexter 8-201 Drums

Question:

the existing electric brakes have a sticker pn 023-106-00 Right hand 7124-020502 and the drum says Dexter max drum size 12.03 AF * and 8-201. This is on a duel axle fifth wheel and i am looking for replacement brake assys for both axles and am not sure what units to purchase. Can you recomend?

The Dexter 8-201 hub and drums use 12 x 2 inch brake assemblies. You can verify this by measuring your drums as shown in the attached picture.

I recommend # AKEBRK-7-SA electric brake assemblies. Both the left and right hand brakes are included and labeled for easier installation. These are self-adjusting brakes so you'll need to adjust them when you install them but after that you leave them alone.
