The Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class III - 2" # 75902 on your 2017 Nissan Rogue will allow you to use the hands free tailgate lift function to either side of the centered receiver tube. It will only interfere were that center tube is present.
If you will be using this hitch receiver for towing, I recommend the Tekonsha T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector # 118480 which is a confirmed fit. This custom-fit T-One connector plugs into your vehicle's wiring harness, which is located inside your trunk, behind the tail lights on both the driver's side and passenger's side. You will need to remove some interior trim or carpeting to access the harness. Once you've plugged in the T-connector, run the hot lead up to your car battery. Connect the lead to the included fuse holder, and then connect the fuse holder to the positive terminal on your battery and insert the provided fuse. I've attached an article to help with routing that hot lead wire and have linked a video as well.
For a ball mount, I recommend the B&W Tow & Stow 2-Ball Mount - 2" Hitch - 3" Drop, 3-1/2" Rise - 7.5K - Black # BWTS10035B. This gives you the ability to adjust for level transport of most trailers. It also has two integrated hitch ball options of 2 inch and 1-7/8 inch. It has a nice clean look when not in use due to its stowable feature that also will protect your shins when loading and unloading cargo. I recommend the hitch lock # e98882 to protect your investment.
