Fifth Wheel Hitch for 2017 Chevy Silverado 2500HD With Prep Package

Question:

I have a Reese 14k Kwik Slide hitch. I bought a 2017 Silverado 2500hd, 6-1/2 foot bed with the 5th wheel and gooseneck prep package installed. I need rails to fit this vehicle , can you tell me what rails I need please.

There are no base rails that are going to fit your 2017 Chevy Silverado 2500 that has the prep package; you would need a new fifth-wheel hitch which is compatible with the package. I recommend checking out the Curt E16 # 16516, which has a towing capacity of 16,000 lbs, a vertical load limit of 4,000 lbs, an auto-locking slide-bar jaw, a non-binding slider, height adjustment between 14" and 17", pivoting head to make hookup easier, and an anti-rattle skid plate for a quieter ride. You would only need to install adapter rails # C16023 to work with this hitch.
