The Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class III - 2" # C13153 is a confirmed fit for all 2017 Hyundai Santa Fe 3.3L V6 models excluding the Sport. It is a fit for your XL model and I confirmed this with my contact at Curt.
For your trailer wiring or accessory wiring, I recommend the Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector # C56184 which is also a confirmed fit. This custom-fit T-connector plugs into your vehicle's wiring harness, which is located in your rear cargo area. You will have to remove the rear scuff panel and interior side panels to access this harness. Once you've plugged in the T-connector, run the hot lead up to your car battery. Connect the lead to the included fuse holder, and then connect the fuse holder to the positive terminal on your battery. I've attached an article to assist with running this power wire.
For a ball mount, I recommend the B&W Tow & Stow 2-Ball Mount - 2" Hitch - 3" Drop, 3-1/2" Rise - 7.5K - Black, # BWTS10035B. This will give you a 2 inch and 1-7/8 inch hitch ball as well as give you adjustability to tow a trailer level by offering the 1 inch height adjustments between a 3 inch drop and 3-1/2 inch rise. This ball mount also offers the ability to hide the ball on the backside when not in use to give you a clean look and save your shins when loading cargo in the rear hatch. To secure your investment I recommend a hitch lock like # BX8858.
